Position Summary:

Aviza Technology is growing and we are looking to hire a Process Development Engineer to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Develop new batch and single wafer ALD process for Advanced Technologies (Dielectric-Low and High K & Metal)
• Characterize customer's processes in support of new orders
• Implement and perform process development projects
• Support Field Process Engineers as necessary
• Train customers and internal groups on process engineering methods and techniques
• Perform product demonstrations and run customer demos
• Interface with product management, sales and customer contacts to define success criteria for development and characterization projects
• Advise product engineering of process driven design requirements and improvements
• Research, evaluate and select new precursor to meet market needs and customer requirements
• Assist with testing of new hardware and software on existing and future process platforms in the Lab

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Physics. PhD preferred. 5+ years experience in CVD, PVD, or ALD applications. Dielectric ALD experience preferred. Hands-on experience with equipment development Knowledge of solid state physics and silicon device fabrication methods and procedures specifically, the operation of furnaces and anneal systems.
