Position Summary:
Main responsibilities will include developing advanced etch processes and hardware in order to meet roadmap targets. This will involve progressing complex research and development projects requiring hands-on processing work, and proposing and testing novel hardware with particular detail to deep silicon etch.
Capability in the areas of theoretical modeling (including CFD) would be advantageous. The successful candidate would be expected to work within a multi-disciplinary team, and good customer relation skills are a must.
This position will involve carrying out some 'on site' customer support. Candidates must therefore be willing to undertake international travel. There may also be some requirement to work varying shift patterns.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Applicants must be educated to at least degree level with relevant industrial or academic experience within semiconductor process technology. A relevant post graduate degree will be of particular interest. We particularly welcome applications from engineers with three to five years semiconductor or related research and development experience.
